adidas

When shoemaker and adidas founder Adi Dassler supplied German runner Lina Radke with a pair of handmade spikes during the Olympic Games in Amsterdam in 1928, he followed his mission to provide every athlete with the best equipment possible – and kicked off an unparalleled history in athletics. Since Radke’s 1928 gold medal win in world record time, adidas has outfitted many more legends in athletics including Jesse Owens, Emil Zátopek, Al Oerter, Bob Beamon, Dick Fosbury, Grete Waitz, and Haile Gebrselassie.
As an Official IAAF Partner and product supplier for the official IAAF licensing range, adidas continues its founder’s mission at the IAAF World Athletic Series until 2019.
‘Only the best for the athlete” Adi Dassler.
